FOTIC 2018 Work Conference held |

The 2018 Work Conference of China Foreign Economy and Trade Trust Co., Ltd. (FOTIC) was held on February 2. The conference’s theme “30+1 Soar” implies FOTIC embarking upon a new journey in the year of “30+1”. “30” represents the company’s mission as well as the profound deposits and business foundation formed by generations of FOTIC employees. Meanwhile, “+1” implies that the company will be more responsible, courageous, confident, patient, trustworthy, intelligent and innovative. Using pictorials and all-inclusive reports, the conference reviewed the company’s overall operations as well as highlights and deficiencies of its various departments in 2017. Aiming at the new policy situation, the company posed the requirements of “sticking to the bottom line of risks, consolidating systems and seeking improvement in stability” for risk control. Moreover, based on the company’s strengths in the given economic situation, the conference mapped out the company’s development strategy for the coming three years. The idea is to build an innovative and human-oriented modern financial company that serves various entities. On the occasion, FOTIC General Manager Elzat presented a report titled “Making a New Start, Focusing on the New Goal, Meeting the New Times, Promoting the Leap of the Company”. The report aptly accounted for future development needs as well as impact, influence and changes in the external environment. It also forecasted the trend of future development and changes from a strategic perspective in the 40th year of the reform and opening-up and the first year of the implementation of the spirit of the 19th CPC National Congress. In addition, it proposed “building a sound financial society”, and further expounded the company’s development plan from aspects of vision, goal and capacity. Furthermore, on behalf of the group and its financial divisions, FOTIC Chairman Yang Lin acknowledged the company’s achievements over the past year, recognized managers’ diligence, thanked all employees for their painstaking efforts, and raised requirements and expectations for the company’s work in 2018.
The 2017 Award Ceremony was held concurrently to reward the teams and individuals that overcame hardships and achieved significant results in business contribution, market development, business innovation, improvement in management and operational support. Innovation Award, Team of the Year and Star of the Year were among the seven awards presented. This year, the company also offered the “Award for 30-Year Outstanding Contributions” to reward the employees who have grown with the company and played a critical role over the past three decades. Moreover, “Leaving handprints” was a special gift for “10 Outstanding Employees”, symbolizing that the company will never forget their outstanding contributions. Meanwhile, heads of business departments and leaders in charge signed business pledges with the company and made solemn commitments at the conference. Leaders of middle and back-end departments also joined the event for the first time. During the company’s leap growth stage, functional departments are poised to perform their duties in support of business departments. All employees expressed their determination to accomplish this mission. |
