From July 23 to 24, the Semiannual Work Conference 2018 of the China Foreign Economy and Trade Trust Co., Ltd. (FOTIC) was held.
The conference reviewed FOTIC's overall operations in the first half of 2018, analyzed the internal and external environment, reflected on business problems and comprehensively organized and arranged the work for the second half of the year.
In the first half of 2018, in the grave and complex contemporary economic environment, FOTIC stayed true to the concept of "serving the society through finance", and proactively prevented and controlled risks, maintained steady operations, stayed within the semiannual budgetary target and achieved brilliant business results.
We should bear in mind that "development is the absolute principle", face up to difficulties and persevere in our struggles, noted Elzat, General Manager of FOTIC. In 2018, a critical year for the corporation’s aim to make great leaps and bounds, FOTIC should observe calmly, size up the situation, grasp prominent contradictions in development, take targeted measures and make all-out efforts, to accomplish healthy, scientific and high-quality development, he added.
The meaning of finance is not only making money, it is also a noble cause of serving the good of the people and their lives. In the second half of the year, FOTIC should uphold Sinochem's development concept of "science foremost, with knowledge and action united"; seek opportunities in every crisis; integrate action with learning; strive to improve the capabilities of strategic collaboration, precision marketing, product R&D and design; and make changes and innovation on the basis of sticking to the bottom line of risk control; said Yang Lin, Chairman of FOTIC.
